How to Create Stop Motion Animation Activities for Students with Google Slides

Stop-motion animation sounds really complicated, but I promise that it can be simple and fun.

I put together a full tutorial to walk you through how to create stop-motion animation in google slides step-by-step.

You can create fun and creative activities for students of all ages. The little ones will need a good background and template. But the older kids, 6th grade and up, should be able to create from scratch.

Think of all the possibilities! This tutorial is showing a very simplistic idea by having leaves fall off of a tree, but it can be as artistic, intricate, and creative as you like.

Remember, an animation is a form of storytelling. (This is a concept I share a lot, and go more in-depth in my book, Blended Learning with Google.)

What stories can students tell in your classroom? Retell stories and histories, explain concepts, personal, fictional…the list goes on and on.

Watch the video below to learn how:

Please share in the comments what you try with your students!
