AI in the Classroom: How Teachers Are Saving Time and Teaching Better⏰ Less time planning. More time teaching. Sound too good to be true? This session will change your mind.

Cammie Kannekens is here to show you what responsible, practical AI use actually looks like in a real classroom—using TeachAid, an AI-powered planning platform built around actual curriculum standards. Think complete, standards-aligned units in minutes: lessons, activities, assessments, differentiation supports, IEP accommodations, and more.

This special spotlight session is sponsored by TeachAid.

AI in the Classroom: How Teachers Are Saving Time and Teaching Better

Teachers are doing more with less — evolving standards, increasingly diverse classrooms, and barely enough prep time to breathe. Most AI tools promise help but deliver generic outputs that require hours of prompting just to get something usable.

TeachAid is different.

In this session, longtime Alberta educator and District Instructional Coach Cammie Kannekens walks through the TeachAid platform to show what responsible, practical AI use actually looks like in the modern classroom. TeachAid is the AI curriculum platform that builds complete, standards-aligned units — hyper-local, end-to-end, in minutes. We’re talking lessons, activities, assessments, differentiation supports, IEP accommodations, and more — all built around real curriculum standards, not generic templates. You’ll leave with a clear picture of how AI can reduce your workload without reducing the quality your students deserve.
